Walk Description

At an elevation of 1,250 m, Mt Donna Buang is a challenging bushwalk near Warburton in the Yarra Ranges National Park. It includes steep trails through Mountain Ash forests. At the summit there is a 21 m high lookout tower which provides excellent views of the mountains and the Yarra Valley.

Booking is  required for this walk.   The Leader will confirm your acceptance on the walk, or not, via email.  The leader will organise car-pooling and provide details of where and when to meet.

What to bring:

• Day pack
• Sufficient water (2 litres, more on hot summer days)
• Lunch and snacks
• Hat, sun screen
• Suitable outdoor clothing (no jeans/sneakers!)
• Rainwear & warm jacket
• Proper walking shoes/boots

Booking Fee:
Members: free.     Non-members: $7.
Please pay the leader CASH at the start of the walk, NO credit cards.

Passengers must pay the driver their share of car-pooling costs as described on the Car-pooling page. Please bring cash for this purpose.
