Walk Description

The walk is located in one of the most scenic areas of Mornington Peninsula National Park and includes hiking through forests, along cliffs and on beaches. We start at the Bushrangers Bay carpark and walk about 2.5 km to the coast along the Two Bays Walking Track.  We continue for a further 3 km to Cape Schanck lighthouse and walk down to the boardwalk towards the cape and Pulpit Rock. After a snack break we head back to the beach at Bushrangers Bay where we will have lunch. We will climb up Elephant Rock and enjoy views of the headlands, arches and rock platforms. We then retrace the route back to the carpark and expect to depart at about 4 pm.

Booking is  required for this walk.   The Leader will confirm your acceptance on the walk, or not, via email.  The leader will organise car-pooling and provide details of where and when to meet.

What to bring:

• Day pack
• Sufficient water (2 litres, more on hot summer days)
• Lunch and snacks
• Hat, sun screen
• Suitable outdoor clothing (no jeans/sneakers!)
• Rainwear & warm jacket
• Proper walking shoes/boots

Booking Fee:

Please pay the leader CASH at the start of the walk, NO credit cards.

Passengers must pay the driver their share of car-pooling costs as described on the Car-pooling page. Please bring cash for this purpose.
