Maybe you are new to YHA Bushwalking Victoria or new to bushwalking and want to know what gear you need and how to get started.

Maybe you are an experienced walker or leader with some tips and tricks to share.

Whatever the reason, please join us for an evening where you can meet some of the friendly faces behind the club and learn more about how we operate; the walks program, social activities, how to get involved, etc.
If you are new to bushwalking or pack carries it can be daunting working out what gear you need, and how fit you need to be. Experienced leaders and walkers will share tips and tricks to get you started.
Hope to see you there, share some light refreshments and greet you as a prospective new YHA bushwalker.

 

VENUE: East Melbourne Library Meeting Room, 122 George St, East Melbourne.

(8 minutes walk from West Richmond train station or 4 minutes walk from Jolimont Station. Alternatively take #48 0r 75 tram. Unrestricted street parking available after 6.30pm on the Fitzroy Gardens side of Clarendon Street and on Wellington Parade. Please check signage carefully).

Anyone is welcome to attend, however in order to monitor numbers, please register for the event as per the walks program. The Leader will confirm your participation via email.
