Club Night: Climb Mount Kilimanjaro – POSTPONED

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL CLUB NIGHTS WILL BE POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

 

Mount Kilimanjaro is a dormant volcano in Tanzania. It is the highest mountain in Africa and the highest single free-standing mountain in the world, with its summit of 5,895 metres (19,341 ft) above sea level and at about 4,900 metres (16,100 ft) high from its plateau base.

Our presenters tonight are club walkers Angelica and Miah who completed the climb in 2019 and will tell us about their experiences.

The presentation venue is:

Atrium room, The Hub, 80 HARBOUR ESPLANADE, DOCKLANDS 3008

 

The presentation will commence at 7.30pm; we will be there from 7pm.

Anyone is welcome to attend, no booking for the presentation is necessary, admission is free. However, if you wish to join us for dinner before the presentation, please make a booking (see below).

 

Free parking is available in Docklands after 6.30pm.

Public transport is available via train to Southern Cross Station or tram to Harbour Esplanade, Docklands (stop D4 or D3).

 

If you want to meet earlier for dinner and/or drinks we will be at the nearby TBA , from 6pm to 7.15pm.  It’s ? minutes walk from the presentation venue and is located at TBA.
