Clubnight: Trek to Everest Base Camp

Club members Dale and Phillipa took on the challenge of the Nepal trek to Everest Base Camp in 2019. The return trek from Lukla to the base camp takes 14 days over 130 kilometres.
Dale and Phillipa will present their 58-minute movie about their experiences during the trek, showing the stunning scenery along the way and providing an insight into life in the mountain villages of Nepal.
This is a must for any walkers contemplating doing this amazing trek.
Venue: East Melbourne Library Meeting Room, 122 George St, East Melbourne.
(8 minutes walk from West Richmond train station or 4 minutes walk from Jolimont Station. Alternatively take #48 0r 75 tram. Unrestricted street parking available after 6.30pm on the Fitzroy Gardens side of Clarendon Street and on Wellington Parade. Please check signage carefully).
