New Zealand is well known for its many great multi-day hiking trails. Our presenter tonight, club member Mel, travelled to the South Island in early 2025 for two scenic hikes:
-
Travers-Sabine Circuit, Nelson Lakes National Park (80km – but Garmin watch clocked about 110km, 7 nights from 25 Jan – 1 Feb)
-
Abel Tasman Coastal Track (60km – but Garmin watch clocked almost 80km, 4 nights from 3-7 Feb)
Join us at our September club night for Mel’s account of her tramping adventures!
