Bookings are not required for this walk, just turn up at the designated meeting place (see below).

Join us for quite a pleasant evening beach walk to watch the sunset as we walk along the beach in one direction before we make a U-turn to where we started. Along the way you will inhale and enjoy the smell of salty sea-water, get a good view of the city from across the bay and of course immerse yourself in nature.

This is about 16kms along an easy path, carry a water bottle and snacks with you. Bring a jacket in case the weather changes and of course wear your runners.

Where to meet & how to get there:
In front of Parkdale Yatch Club.

Time: 6:50PM for 7:00PM DEPARTURE (Please be at the meeting point by 6:50PM for 7PM as I leave on time and don’t carry my mobile during times/ hikes I allow myself some time off screens.

Public Transport – take a train to Parkdale train station or there are buses that stop in front of our meeting point.

If you’re driving there is often free parking on the side streets of Como Parade away from the meeting point usually for free. Aim to get there 15 minutes prior to avoid driving around before finding a car park.

Non-members: $4  (please pay the leader CASH at the start of the walk, no credit cards)
