Grampians Major Mitchell Plateau Pack Carry GF Weekend

Closed

Trip Overview

The Major Mitchell Plateau walk in the Grampians offers a captivating and challenging trek through one of Victoria’s most stunning landscapes. This walk is suitable for people who have done at least a couple of pack carries this year.

This trip is a combination of an overnight pack carry and a half-day walk on Sunday.

Because Friday starts early, the group needs to be in Halls Gap or Stawell on Thursday night. Camping or staying in a hotel or caravan park are options, and you can make your own arrangements. When you send the request, please advise which option you prefer so I can arrange the carpool accordingly.

We may need to carry water to the campsite for the first night, so please bring additional water bottles/bladders.

Booking will be open at 10 am on 17th August.

Camping

Friday Night First Wannon Hiker Campsite

Saturday Night Jimmy Creek Campground

There are fees for the campsites, and it is $15 per person. Please make the payment after the booking is confirmed.
