Jindabyne Accommodated Trip: Christmas 2025

Upcoming

Trip Overview

This is an accommodated trip for 4 nights commencing Friday 26/12 staying near the Jindabyne township in 2-share ‘hostel’ type rooms.

There will be 3 full day walks and a 1/2 day on the last day (Tuesday 30/12) covering Thredbo, Perisher, Charlotte’s Pass, and Thredbo. Generally there will be 2 simultaneous walks offered per day comprising a harder and an easy-medium walk option.

Daily park passes for cars ($17) will be required for each of the full day walks (car pooling will reduce the number of cars with the costs shared by all occupants).

A Thredbo lift pass may be required for one of the walks (approx $60 + $5 keycard).

Accommodation

The accommodation is 10 rooms at the Adventist Village, located on 70 acres 2km from the Jindabyne township. Each room has 3 sets of bunks (but only 2 people will be allocated per room) and their own bathroom facilities. You will need to BYO linen or it can be hired for $35. There is common ‘well equipped’ kitchen and dining area but be advised that we do not have exclusive use of the facilities.

Other facilities includes a MTB trail, basketball & volleyball, & 18-hole disk golf course.

Additional accommodation will be booked subject to demand & availability, and total number of attendees.

Note that alcohol, drugs and smoking are not permitted.
