Walk Description

We will walk the ski trails around Lake Mountain ski village area and if have time will also do the Summit.

We will all meet at Lilydale station car park (Bus bay side) at 8.30 am and organize car pooling from there and aim to be at Lake Mountain by 10 am. If you do not have a car, you either need to get to Lilydale station by train, or get a lift with a driver. I will send out on the Wednesday before the trip a suggested list of drivers who can take passengers to Lilydale station. Getting a lift to Lilydale station with a driver is not guaranteed.

Booking is  required for this walk.   The Leader will confirm your acceptance on the walk, or not, via email.  The leader will organise car-pooling and provide details of where and when to meet.

What to bring:

• Day pack
• Sufficient water (2 litres, more on hot summer days)
• Lunch and snacks
• Hat, sun screen
• Suitable outdoor clothing (no jeans/sneakers!)
• Rainwear & warm jacket
• Proper walking shoes/boots

Booking Fee:
Members: free.     Non-members: $7.
Please pay the leader CASH at the start of the walk, NO credit cards.

Passengers must pay the driver their share of car-pooling costs as described on the Car-pooling page. Please bring cash for this purpose.
