Dom Dom Saddle to Healesville via Monda Track

Walk Description
This is a car shuffle walk starting at Dom Dom saddle and ends on the outskirts of Healesville. It primarily follows Monda Track and Condons Track through Vic Ash forests.
Monda track is a firebreak that follows the crest of the Great Dividing Range from Dom Dom Saddle to Mt St Leonard. It skirts the edge of the Maroondah water catchment and we will be walking through the Black Range State Forest.
Booking is required for this walk. The Leader will confirm your acceptance on the walk, or not, via email. The leader will organise car-pooling and provide details of where and when to meet.
What to bring:
• Day pack
• Sufficient water (2 litres, more on hot summer days)
• Lunch and snacks
• Hat, sun screen
• Suitable outdoor clothing (no jeans/sneakers!)
• Rainwear & warm jacket
• Proper walking shoes/boots

Booking Fee:
Please pay the leader CASH at the start of the walk, NO credit cards.
Passengers must pay the driver their share of car-pooling costs as described on the Car-pooling page. Please bring cash for this purpose.
