Bookings are not required for this walk, just turn up at:   8:45am   Flagstaff station forecourt (corner William and Latrobe Sts, CBD).

The leader will organise car-pooling and provide directions to the location of the walk.  Drivers are really appreciated to help car-pool walkers between the meeting point and the walk location. There is free all-day parking nearby if your vehicle isn’t needed for transport, but please check parking signs.

The drive from the meeting point to the starting point of the walk will take about 60 minutes and is 140 km return.

The walk will take around 4-5 hours including breaks.

Expect to return to the meeting point around 6.00pm.

Walk Description

This is a circuit walk through Ingliston Gorge, located in Werribee Gorge State Park. It is a circuit of 5.2km but we will do it twice. One circuit clock wise and the second circuit anti clock wise. This will make it a day walk.

What to bring

• Day pack
• Sufficient water (2 litres, more on hot summer days)
• Lunch and snacks
• Hat, sun screen
• Suitable outdoor clothing (no jeans/sneakers!)
• Rainwear & warm jacket
• Proper walking shoes/boots

Booking Fee:

YHA Bushwalking Victoria Members: Free
Non-members: $7  (please pay the leader CASH at the start of the walk, no credit cards)

Passengers must pay the driver their share of car-pooling costs as described on the Car-pooling page. Please bring cash for this purpose.
