Walk Description

The meeting point for this walk is the Castlemaine Railway Station at 10.30am.

If travelling by train, you need to catch the 9.02 Echuca train from Southern Cross Railway Station. It arrives in Castlemaine at 10.28 am. Refer to the comments below from the leader.

The hike will start and finish at the Castlemaine Railway Station.

What to bring

• Day pack
• Sufficient water (2 litres, more on hot summer days)
• Lunch and snacks
• Hat, sun screen
• Suitable outdoor clothing (no jeans/sneakers!)
• Rainwear & warm jacket
• Proper walking shoes/boots

YHA Bushwalking Victoria Members: Free
Non-members: $7  (please pay the leader CASH at the start of the walk, no credit cards)
