Walk Description

Bring your Myki.
You must book in to join this walk (see below).

.
Our popular Thursday evening summer urban hikes are on again during February and March in 2022!
These hikes start and finish at a railway station in inner Melbourne. Each hike will have a different starting and finishing location; so it is important that attendees are on WhatsApp; the starting location will be firmed up as each hike approaches. Melbourne Metro does have a penchant for cancellations, line shutdowns and long, unexplained delays, which may mean things can change pretty quick at the last minute, and the only way to reach everyone is via WhatsApp.
We hike for two hours, and then retire to a pub or restaurant for a light meal.
Bring your Myki . . . you never know where you’ll end up.
These hikes are very popular, and are something of a social event as well as a hiking event. Your hike leader, Craig, has a repertoire of hikes that are sure to appeal, taking in rivers, ritzy suburbs, bayside, a bit of history and even a ghoulish trip through a cemetery! Dad jokes abound. Come along and catch up with old friends and make new ones, but please; these hikes are not city strolls. You will need to keep up!
