Join us for a special Christmas party aboard Melba Star on Melbourne’s beautiful waterways. Enjoy great company, drinks, music and spectacular views of the city as the sun goes down and the lights come on.

A Christmas Party with a Difference

Being on a boat makes this a special and memorable experience — a fantastic way to celebrate the year with fellow YHA Bushwalking Victoria members and friends.

Our Cruise

We’ll depart from Federation Square wharf and cruise along Melbourne’s waterways, taking in some of the city’s most impressive sights.

The planned itinerary includes:

• Heading towards Toorak to see some of Melbourne’s beautiful mansions
• Passing the sports precinct
• Cruising through Victoria Harbour and Docklands
• Possibly continuing towards Williamstown
• Enjoying views of the Melbourne skyline and city lights at dusk

The exact route will be weather dependent. If conditions are too windy to head towards Williamstown, we’ll adjust the itinerary on the day to make sure everyone has a great and comfortable cruise.

The boat has a great sound system, so we can play our own music and create the perfect atmosphere for an evening of celebration.

Price: $40 per person  

Note: The total cost of the event is $100 per person approx.  Members pay $40 and the club pays $60, so it is an excellent value for members.
