Walking Since 1939

Club Nights

Clubnights are monthly, and free for members and visitors.  They are both social and informative, usually with an outdoor, travel or conservation theme. They may be virtual or in person.

Our interesting guest speakers range from walk leaders and members talking about upcoming walks or exciting walks they have done in Australia or overseas, to travel authors, back country film producers, various bushwalking experts, or others prominent in bushwalking circles.

Clubnight is a great opportunity to chat with Committee members and walk leaders to get you started bushwalking with us,  transitioning from day walks to more challenging activities, discussing the latest and greatest in gear,  becoming a leader or how you can be more involved with the Club.

The first Tuesday of each month. Details are on the Current Walks Program.

In person Clubnights commence with social drinks and nibbles from 7.00pm, with the main presentation at 7.30pm, and typically finish around 9pm.

Club night is normally at the The Hub at Docklands, 80 Harbour Esplanade, Docklands. However, due to Covid-19, in person club nights are suspended until the end of 2021. We are using zoom technology to have virtual club nights.  Details are on the Current Walks Program.

Normally, w arrange a dinner beforehand at a nearby restaurant from 6pm so keep an eye on our Current Walks Program event details and Meetup for how to join.
