Walk Description

Length: 11.9 km approx.

Total Climbing: 605 km

Duration: 6 hours approx.

Hiking experience required

The walk goes through a series of steep gorges and waterfalls and some sections are off track hiking. The main challenges are the steep stony slopes around waterfalls and down the ridges.

The walk has some creek crossings, so expect wet feet. Proper hiking boots are required.

Booking is  required for this walk.   The Leader will confirm your acceptance on the walk, or not, via email.  The leader will organise car-pooling and provide details of where and when to meet.

What to bring:

• Day pack
• Sufficient water (2 litres, more on hot summer days)
• Lunch and snacks
• Hat, sun screen
• Suitable outdoor clothing (no jeans/sneakers!)
• Rainwear & warm jacket
• Proper walking shoes/boots

Booking Fee:
Members: free.     Non-members: $7.
Please pay the leader CASH at the start of the walk, NO credit cards.

Passengers must pay the driver their share of car-pooling costs as described on the Car-pooling page. Please bring cash for this purpose.
