Walk in Greater Bendigo NP / Visit to Central Deborah Goldmine and dinner

Expired

Walk Description

Distance: 12 kms

Come and check out the historic regional city of Bendigo with a varied day out. We will travel to Bendigo via train and complete a walk in the Greater Bendigo National Park. This national park protects Box-Ironbark Forest and mallee scrub in Central Victoria. We will then travel to central Bendigo to do a tour of the Central Deborah Goldmine. We will get to visit the underground tunnels of a real gold mine 61 metres under Bendigo that operated into the 1950s. This will be followed by dinner in Bendigo. The cost of this trip will be $37 per person to cover the cost of the mine tour.
