The Bloody Long Walk

Closed

Walk Description

Distance: 33 Km
Elevation: mostly flat
Grade MH 🥾🥾🥾

This is a great walk that follows the route of the Bloody Long Walk event.  We will start at Studley Park, walk along the Boulevard, past Fairfield boathouse, through some pretty streets of Kew, and follow the Yarra into the City and Docklands. We will then walk by the Bay through Port Melbourne, and finish at the St Kilda esplanade for a celebrational cup of tea or coffee.

There are a number of exit points on the way, where you can jump on to a tram or train, so it can be a 15K, 20K, 25K or 33K walk, whichever you prefer.

We will walk at averagely 5K/hr, so NOT suitable for casual slow walkers please. Please bring your Myki card.

Life is wonderful in hiking boots, see you out there!

Transport

Make your own way to the walk location by car or public transport (your choice).
