Club night – Tour du Mount Blanc

The Tour du Mont Blanc is one of the most popular long-distance walks in Europe. It circles the Mont Blanc massif, covering a distance of roughly 170 kilometres with 10 kilometres of ascent/descent and passes through parts of Switzerland, Italy and France. It is considered one of the classic long-distance hiking trails.

Our presenter tonight, Kathryn, has walked with the club for many years, is an experienced world traveller and has hiked some of the world’s great treks.

Anyone is welcome to attend, no booking for Club night presentation is necessary, admission is free.  However, an indication of numbers is helpful.

The presentation venue is at The Mission to Seafarers Victoria, 717 Flinders Street, Docklands. The presentation will commence at 7.30pm in the Celia Little Room, we will be in the room from 7pm. Drinks can be purchased from the ground floor bar.

If you want to meet earlier for dinner and/or drinks we will be at the WHARF HOTEL, from 6pm to 7.15pm.  The Wharf Hotel is five minutes walk from the presentation venue and is located by the river at WTC Wharf – Riverside (World Trade Centre), 18 – 38 Siddeley Street, Docklands.

We book a table under “YHA Bushwalking”. RSVP essential for dinner!

H all, Just to let you know, access to the Celia Little Room is via the side entrance (through the garden), due to renovations underway at the Mission to Seafarers. There is a bar running running upstairs if anyone would like a drink or a place to relax before/after the presentation, regards, Doug.
