This walk will be a morning walk, starting at 9am.

Short Sundays Strolls are perfect for walkers who are already on the Dandenong Ranges side of town and don’t want or need a full day out.

Stroll is a bit misleading – lets just call this one the Short Sunday Smash!  Oozes classic Dandenongs “what goes down must come up” vibes, but so pretty and beautiful you occasionally forget you have been walking uphill for the last 20 minutes.

There will of course be stops to look at fungi, pretty weeds, wildlife or “thats a cool rock, its so cool it has a track named after it, and that track also rocks”.

Tracks will be a mixture of uneven rooty, leaf littery narrow paths to good quality crushed rock paths/roads of various widths.

The leader will advise of the exact meeting spot prior to the event.

Transport

Transport to and from the walk location is by car or public transport. Please indicate your transport requirements and preferences on the booking request form when you book in.

If you don’t have a car, we can’t guarantee to provide you with a lift – this will depend on available drivers and their locations. However, the leader may be able to arrange for a public transport pick-up option if required.

Passengers must pay the driver their share of car-pooling costs as described on the Car-pooling page. Please discuss the preferred method of payment with your driver.
