Is your first aid training up to date?  To be current you need to renew every 3 years (the CPR component should be renewed every 12 months).

Do you know how to do CPR?

Know what to do if you sprain an ankle, break an arm, get bitten by a snake or spider, have an allergic reaction, suffer from dehydration or heat stroke?

First Aid Management is providing a Level 2 First Aid HLTAID011, 8 hour course, tailored to bushwalking.  Completing a precourse booklet means you can complete training that normally takes 2 days in 8 hours.

Cost:

The course is intended for leaders. It will be free for active leaders (see below) and current committee members.

However, if places are available, bookings will be open closer to the date for members.  Fees for members are listed below under “Booking”. The full price for this course is $165, so this is a very good deal.

Venue: 9am – 5pm.     Training Location is in Forest Hill.

Exact address and full details about the course will be provided to those who book in.

Booking

Booking is  required for this course.   The host will confirm your acceptance, or not, via email.

BOOKING FEE:

Leaders: Free if you lead at least one walk this calendar year or have a free membership (i.e. you are a life member or had led 3 days in the prior 12 months when your membership was last renewed).

Committee members:   Free

Members:  $50 (subject to availability when bookings open)

Payment is required by Paypal or card.

If you need to cancel, please advise the host as soon as possible, so that someone else has the opportunity. If we can find a replacement for you will receive a full refund, otherwise unless there are exceptional circumstances (e.g. you need to cancel because you have Covid-19), there will be no refunds.
