Itinerary and Walk Descriptions

Leave Melbourne for Bright on Friday afternoon. I will confirm Friday night campsite closer to the date. May involve spare cost if we book a caravan park.

Car shuffle required. Therefore, we aim to be at Mountain Creek campground by 7 am on Sat morning.

Distance: 40 km (dependent on car access from Mountain Creek campground, add a spare 6.5 km 0n day 3, for fun!)

Day-1: 22 km; Mt Bogong Village – Ropers Hut. Walk time- app 7 hrs.

Day-2: 9 km; Ropers Hut – Cleve Cole Hut. Walk time- app 3 hrs.

Side-trip to Mt Bogong, without packs.

Day-3: 7 km; Cleve Cole Hut – Eskadale Spur Trailhead. Walk time- app 3 hrs. (The spare 6.5 km is mostly flat, so would require app 1.5 hrs extra)
