Extended Sherbrooke Loop from Belgrave

Bookings are not required for this walk, just turn up at: Belgrave railway station in the car park at 10:35am for a 10:45am start. By car from the city via Burwood Highway, turn right at the round-about at the end of the shops, then turn right at the next round-about to enter the car park. If the station car park is full, there is a large car park behind the shops on the north side of Burwood Highway (enter from Reynolds Lane or Terrys Ave). Arriving from the city by train the car park is on your right-hand side as the train enters the station. No car-pooling is required as the walk will start and finish at the above meeting point. Expect to return to the meeting point around 4.00pm. |
Walk Description
The walk will start from Belgrave Station and will visit Sherbrook Falls, Grant’s picnic ground and then take the loop back.
What to bring
• Day pack
• Sufficient water (2 litres, more on hot summer days)
• Lunch and snacks
• Hat, sun screen
• Suitable outdoor clothing (no jeans/sneakers!)
• Rainwear & warm jacket
• Proper walking shoes/boots
