Bookings are not required for this walk, just turn up at:   8:45am   Flagstaff station forecourt (corner William and Latrobe Sts, CBD).

The leader will organise car-pooling and provide directions to the location of the walk.  There is free all-day parking nearby if your vehicle isn’t needed for transport.

If you are not a member of YHA Bushwalking, the cost is $7 plus any share of car-pooling as described on the Joining a Walk page.

Walk Description

A Surf Coast circuit walk, following the beach from Bells Beach to Point Addis, then returning inland via the Ironbark Basin forest.

What to bring

• Day pack
• Sufficient water (2 litres, more on hot summer days)
• Lunch and snacks
• Hat, sun screen
• Suitable outdoor clothing (no jeans/sneakers!)
• Rainwear & warm jacket
• Proper walking shoes/boots
