Dear YHA Bushwalking Victoria Club Members and Non-Members,

As you all may have been aware, the costs of pretty much everything have been skyrocketing in the last 1-2 years. Consequently, that has been affecting the club’s expenditures and budget.

The club’s committee has taken a decision to increase the Membership Fees to cover the increased costs of running the club.

Please see below the new Membership Fees that will take effect on 1 May 2024:
Membership Fee: $40 ( increased from $35)
Non -Member Day Walk Fee: $8 ( increased from $7)
Non -Member Trip Fee: $12 ( increased from $10)
Non -Member Evening Walk / Short Walk: $5 ( increased from $4)

I would also like to advise the following:
The last membership fees review was done about 10 years ago.
The whole income from the membership fees is spent on running the club.
All our walk leaders and committee members are volunteers.
